The Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration administers programs to implement over 100 laws that protect the basic rights of workers, including minimum wage; child labor; overtime pay standards; equal employment opportunities for employees of Federal contractors; workers’ compensation benefits’ and workers’ rights as union members. The BPA is available to ESA programs for IT planning, studies and assessments; system/application development and maintenance; advanced technology research, development and integration; and system management, production and support.
